Dear IMA Philippines Chapter Members,
As we open a new fiscal year, I feel both energized and optimistic about what lies ahead. The IMA Philippines Chapter is ready to build on its legacy of excellence and innovation, with a clear commitment to creating an even stronger and more meaningful impact across the Philippines in FY 2025–2026.
One of our key priorities this year is strengthening our visibility and relevance in the professional community. Beyond our strong presence in academia, we aim to deepen our engagement with corporate partners, industry associations, and regulatory bodies. Through these partnerships, we will enhance our credibility, expand opportunities for our members, and further elevate both the CMA credential and IMA’s role in shaping the future of finance and business.
At the same time, we remain committed to the initiatives that define our chapter:
- Supporting Students and Young Professionals: Expanding student chapters and creating long-term value that prepares the next generation of finance professionals.
- Mentoring Program: Building on our mentoring initiatives by strengthening connections between experienced professionals and emerging leaders.
- Networking and Community Building: Hosting more events that bring members together to share knowledge, foster relationships, and grow as professionals.
- Global Collaboration: Deepening engagement with IMA chapters worldwide to share best practices, strengthen ties, and amplify our collective impact—while also encouraging members to connect through IMA Shared Interest Groups in areas such as Profitability & Cost Management, ESG, Technology, etc.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Launching initiatives that promote a welcoming, inclusive environment for members from all backgrounds.
- Professional Standards and Ethics: Offering resources and training to uphold and advance ethical practices in accounting and finance.
- Digital Engagement: Using our social media platforms as key touchpoints for communication, professional insights, and member connection.
- Volunteer Leadership: Expanding opportunities for members—especially young professionals—to take on active leadership roles and shape our chapter’s future.
- Corporate Social Responsibility: Continuing to support initiatives that create meaningful community impact, guided by IMA’s values.
- Professional Development: Curating webinars and learning sessions that deliver real value and support members’ continuous growth.
The IMA Philippines Chapter is not defined by one person, it is defined by all of us. It is shaped by your leadership, your contributions, and your passion for the profession. Together, we have accomplished much, and together, we will achieve even more.
